Job Summary

The Electrical Design Engineer is responsible for developing, documenting, and reviewing electrical designs of electrical panels. The role involves creating detailed schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams, ensuring designs meet industry standards (e.g., IEC, ANSI) and customer requirements, and supporting production and installation efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical System Design:

• Develop independently comprehensive electrical designs of electric panels, including schematic diagrams, layout plans, and wiring diagrams using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar software).
• Create and maintain Bill of Materials (BOM) and design documentation for each project.

Standards and Compliance:

• Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry standards, codes, and regulations (e.g., IEC, ANSI).
• Incorporate safety, reliability, and quality considerations into design processes.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and design best practices

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably within the switchgear, power distribution, or industrial automation sectors.
• Proficient in electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN).
• Strong understanding of electrical circuit design, control systems, protection schemes, and power distribution (SLD).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.

GROUP LEADER

JOB DISCRIPTION:

• The Sales Head is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share and strengthen customer relationships.
• Identify new business opportunities, markets, and industry segments to expand sales.
• Lead initiatives to increase market penetration and improve brand positioning.
• Manage, mentor and develop the sales department and business development professionals.
• Monitor team performance and ensure targets are met for switchgear products (LV and MV panels, circuit breakers, relays, etc.).
• Strengthen relationships with EPC contractors, panel builders, OEMs, and distributors.
• Monitor sales margins, costs, and profitability across different product lines and regions.
• Optimize sales processes to improve efficiency and maximize revenue potential.
• Collaborate with the cross functional departments so as to enhance product offerings.
• Present monthly/quarterly sales reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.
• Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and partnership agreements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong leadership and strategic sales management skills.
• Deep technical knowledge of switchgear panels, electrical distribution systems, and industrial power solutions.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to develop and execute long-term sales strategies.

INDUSTRY:

• Working in transformer or generator industry will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of CSS (Compact substation) will be an advantage.
